Silver Spring Networks Selected for Grant County Public Utility District Advanced Metering Program

Silver Spring’s Gen5 Network Platform to be Deployed to Approximately 47,000 Advanced Metering Public Power Customers to Unlock Smart Grid Benefits in Rural Pacific Northwest

San Jose, CA – June 29, 2017 – Silver Spring Networks, Inc. (NYSE: SSNI) today announced its selection for an advanced metering program with Grant County Public Utility District (Grant PUD). Grant PUD is a public power corporation that generates and sells electricity across a 2,777-square mile service area in Central Washington and the Pacific Northwest. Silver Spring’s standards-based Gen5 network platform will connect approximately 47,000 Grant PUD advanced metering customers to help deliver operational savings, improve service reliability, and enable greater energy efficiency.
